Financial conditions

ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020

The grants finance a minimum of two months and a maximum of 4 months of intership in a european institution.

There are three different groups of grant, depending on the country of the intership:

Group 1

Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, United Kingdom and Sweden

400 euros/month
Group 2

Germany, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal

350 euros/month
 Group 3

Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

 300 euros/month

Students from disadvantaged settings (beneficiaries of a general scholarship from the Ministry of Education in the academic year 2018-2019, or who are refugee or eligible for subsidiary protection or who have applied for international protection in Spain) will receive an additional grant of 100 euros/month.

 

 Method of payment

The payment of the grant will be transfered to the bank account number provided by the student in the grant acceptance form. The payment is not made on a monthly basis. Students will receive an initial payment (70% of the total amount), once the certificate of arrival, duly signed, has been received at the International Relations Office. The final payment (30% of the grant) will be done after the completion of the stay and the submission of all required documents as indicated in the general instructions.

 

Grant for special needs 

The students who have been recognized a percentage of disability equal or superior to 33% can apply for special grants that replace the general support of the European Union. Additional aid can be requested based on actual expenses.

The student has to submit his/her application to the university Universitat de València, through IRO e-mail  pagos.erasmus@uv.es or paper based through the General Registry (www.uv.es/registre). The relevant documents must be attached: responsible statement (page 6 at the application), certificate of disability and additional expenses budget if needed.

Students will receive an initial payment (70% of the total amount), once the certificate of arrival, duly signed, has been received at the International Relations Office. The final payment (30% of the grant) will be done after the completion of the stay and the submission of all required documents as indicated in the general instructions.

Grant for special needs

Grants for especials needs

Student with an officially recongized handicapped percentage more than 33% can ask for special grant.  Should the percentage exceed the 65% they can also ask for an additional grant igual. Applications must be submitted to Servei de Relacions Internacionals de la Universitat de València.

Students mobility for placement enables students at higher education institutions to spend a placement traineeship/intership period in an enterprise or organisation in another in another participating country of Erasmus+ Programme.

Modalities of grant:
There are two different modalities of Erasmus Placement:
- Type A: students enrolled in a  degree of the University of Valencia whose curriculum has instership subject.
- Type B: graduated students who have finished their studies in the course immediately prior to the completion of the practice. For this call will be those that end in the course 2018-2019.

Period to spend the intership in academic year 2019-2020:
Between 1st September 2019 and 30th September 2020

Application deadlines:

- First period: from June 5 to July 16, 2019, both inclusive (modalities A and B) - Closed.
- Second period: from October 1 to 22, 2019, both included (modality A for all countries of the call, and mode B only for United Kingdom) - Closed.
- Third period: from January 9 to 29, 2020, both included (only mode A)
- Fourth period: from April 2 to April 24, 2020, both included (only mode A)

1. When making your request

The application will be submitted through the online form ENTRE (entreu.uv.es).

The application will accompany the following documentation that must also be submitted telematically:
• Document supporting the assignment of an integrated curricular practice (by assigning a practice by the corresponding center work commission). This document should only be submitted by the applicants in Modality A. (See Annex II or III of the call in the "calls" tab)
• Agreement of practices. It must be filled and signed by the student, the host entity and the mobility mobility coordinator of the University of Valencia. (See Annex IV or V of the call in the "calls" tab)

 

2. Instructions before you go

Once you have completed your Erasmus Placement Programme Application, if you are granted with the scholarship, the International Relations and Cooperation Service will contact you to ask you to carry out the following steps:

1.- Grant Erasmus Placement Programme Acceptance: the acceptance must be carried out through the electronic processing environment ENTREU, submitting the procedure “Erasmus Placement Programme Grant Acceptance 2019-2020". You have to indicate the IBAN of your bank account and the personal details of someone we can contact with in case of emergency. When the process has finished an acceptance justifying will be generated.

Once it is validated, you will receive a notification from which you will be able to download a certificate/designation of the Erasmus Placement Programme allocated

2.- Grant agreement: this documents contains administrative, economic dates (of the grant) and your signature. We need the document with the original subject, so you have to hand it in in paper before you go or send it via courier service, always before the carrying out of the work placements, to the International Relations and Cooperation Service

3.- Online Linguistic Suport (test before the mobility): in the Erasmus+ Programmes those students who take place in an mobility plan have to carry out an exam before the mobility to certificate their knowledge in the language of training, and another exam after the placement. Students will receive an e-mail with the instructions. The language assesment are mandatory for these languages: bulgarian, german, croatian, chezc, danish, greek, hungarian, french, english, italian, dutch, polish, portuguese, romanian, slovakian, finnish and swedish.

  in some cases, they will be offered a course to expand their knowledge in such language.

4.- Health, liability and accidents insurance: International Relations Office will provide you with the insurance. You will receive the receipt by e-mail before your departure. If you want to see theOncampus coverages, click here. We also recommend you to manage the European Health Insurance Card.

5.- You must register in the  Traveller’s Register and in the Consulate or Embassy of Spain in the town where you are going to. 3. Once you arrive to the host institution

Arrival confirmation You have to submit it via ENTREU (Expediente Erasmus Prácticas 2019-2020- Destinació procedure), duly signed by the company or host institution. It is advisable for students to keep the original as personal prove.

Appendix for  changes during the mobility You should fill in this document if important changes are produced (period, tasks, tutors, etc...) in your work placement in relation to what was initially indicated in your work placement agreement so changes can be reflected in your academic record.

  • When the modifications refer to an extension of the period of work placements in any event the communication should be done, approved and signed before the competition of the deadline initially settled.
  • Index must be sent via e-mail to (practiques@uv.es) with the approval of the coordinator and the company.

Important: in order to receive the first payment of the grant  you must have handed in all the required information. The payment procedure of the grants will be made by order of reception of the certificate.

4. When you come back:

a) Certificate of stay: you have to submit via ENTREU (Expedient Erasmus Pràctiques 2019-2020- Finalització) the certificate of stay dully signed and with the stamp of the host institution which reflects the months of stay. Important: the date of the signature of the stay certificate must be the same or after completing the work placement period

It is highly important to have into account the advertisements on dates and correction prohibitions reflected at the foot of the document.

b) UE Survey: once you have submitted the certificate of stay, you will be sent from the EU an e-mail for you to fill in an online form.

The payment of the second term of the grant will be completed once students have sent such EU form.

 

   5. Other documents and recommendations

  1. Apply it in the closest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. Visit the web of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This application is compulsory.
  2. Here you can watch travel recommendations by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
  3. If you travel to Turkey you shoud ask before to the Turkish embassy or consulate if you need visa.
  4.  If you are student of the Universitat de València with an accepted Erasmus Studies stay and you have also the nationality of a country that does not belong to the European Union, you will need a visa. Consult with the embassy of your country and with the embassy of the country you are travelling to. In any case, know that Directive (UE) 2016/801 by European Parliament and Council, issued on May 11th, 2016, compels the host country to facilitate you the proceedings.
  5. Change Bank account form: If you need to change your account number, fill out this form and send it to the pagos.erasmus@uv.es address along with a copy of the book or similar document showing all 24 digits, from your university email.
  6. Authorization Leave a signed authorisation to a person you trust. You can carry out the proceedings before the University when you are abroad.
  7. Your rights as a European mobility student.
  8.      Resignation letter of the grant:  you must present the document at the General Registry of Entry of the University of Valencia, or send an email to the International Relations and Cooperation Service from your account @alumni.uv.es, indicating yours name, surnames and DNI at the address: practiques@uv.es
