High Speed Signals Characterisation Fundamentals and Applications of Signal Integrity

Burjassot, November 14th, 2018

ETSE-UV

Classroom 2.1.5

Av. de la Universitat

Burjassot (València)

The gradual increase of data usage by consumers has lead to the rise of usage in high speed signals for electronic devices, which in turn makes the signal more complicated, including the measurement and product debugging. Making the right choice at the beginning of this whole development process will allow to avoid prototype repetitions and bring the product to the market before the competition.

Engineers have traditionally grown used to using oscilloscopes. However, new technologic trends bring new design and debugging scenarios that require the use of proper knowledge and tools.

Whether you are a novice with high speed data design or a well-honed expert, the objective of this workshop is to grant the necessary knowledge to work in laboratories so you can use it immediately in order to improve your abilities and get better confidence in your designs. Seize this chance to learn instrumentation from our experts and its relationship with signals in the measurements, as well as new challenges in measurement and design that you might find in the future so that you get a better understanding in overcoming them.

The line-up of the event includes:

  • 09:00 - Presentation and Introduction to Digital Acquisition of High Speed
  • 09:20 - Basis of High Speed Oscilloscopes
  • 11:00 - Break
  • 11:30 - Advanced Jitter Measurements - “Get Information about Jitter Measurements from TJ, RJ, BUJ”
  • 12:30 - Crosstalk Analysis - “Identifying and Removing Crosstalk of Your Oscilloscope Designs"
  • 13:30 - Closure

The registration to this workshop is free of charge and the number of places is limited.
