ETSE-UV, in cooperation with the IT Department and WIE-ETSEUV of the IEEE branch of ETSE-UV, organises a video contest in order to reduce female dropout rates and promote the creation of support networks for women in the field of Engineering. All the videos must include the story of a woman, who will explain who she is and what would she do to reduce female dropout rates.
Requirements
You can participate on your own or as a member of a team. You can only be part of one group and present a single video. The requirements are
1. To be registered as a student or professor in the academic course 2018/2019 in any bachelor, master’s or doctoral degree of ETSE-UV.
2. To record a video (maximum length 5 minutes) presented by a female member of the team in which she answers two questions: why she chose to study engineering and how she thinks the number of women studying engineering could increase.
3. The video must be original.
4. The video must be presented in Valencian, Spanish or English.
5. You have to transfer the image rights of the video in accordance with the regulations of the call http://links.uv.es/G5vq04N

Awards
An award worth €150 will be given for each of the following categories:
Category A: to the person or team that presents the video with more votes in the ETSE-UV YouTube Channel.
Category B: to the person or the team that presents the most original video.
In the case that the most original video (category B) was also the most voted video (category A), a single prize (€200) will be given for the video. In addition, €100 will be given to the 2nd most voted video in the ETSE-UV YouTube Channel.

Award of prizes
Category A: depending on the number of votes in the ETSE-UV YouTube Channel between 8th and 20th March 2019.
Category B: depending on the criteria of the judges to assess the ideas of each video, within the context of the contest + Dones 2018 expected on 21st March 2019.
