Next Tuesday, 30 October 2018, it will be held in the ETSE-UV the Conference EMC Chair WE-UV, whose main aim is to present the activities that annually take place under the umbrella of the Chair that the Universitat de València has with the company Würth Elektronik.

The Conference will start at 9 am with a presentation of the event and the foundations of the Chair carried out by its Director, the professor José Torres. Then, Antonio Alcarria, former student of the ETSE-UV and current Product Manager at Würth Elektronik will make a presentation on the possible professional profiles that an engineer can develop working in a multinational company such as Würth Elektronik and will review his experience as a trainee student in the EMC Chair.

Following, there will be a space to perform different demonstrations of projects developed by the Researchers of the EMC Chair to show the different problematic areas related to the issues of electromagnetic interferences in electronic designs. During the break, there will be a Würth Elektronik stand where the different innovations related with their products will be shown. Moreover, it will be possible to hand the CV over and talk with the staff of the company as well as the Chair.

The second part of the conference will be carried out by Lorandt Fölkel, Applications Engineer at Würth Elektronik within the scope of EMI problems and design of industrial converters and applications of electric vehicles. Lorandt is a great expert in EMC. Besides, he has over 25 years’ experience in electronic design and has realised more than 500 seminars to help Design Engineers, providing them with training to facilitate the resolution of EMC problems task in a simple way.
