On the 6th of March of 2019, the commemorative event was held in the ETSE-UV. It was revealed the plaque assigned to the general laboratory of chemical engineering (laboratory 4.0.7), named after the retired professor of the department of chemical engineering, Dr. Antoni Martínez Andreu, in compliance with the agreement reached unanimously by the School Centre Board.

Professor Martínez Andreu, after a brief historical review of the creation of the Chemical Engineering laboratory, highlighted his satisfaction and pride at his participation in the start-up and expansion of the facilities where the experimental teaching in chemical engineering is carried out at the Universitat de València.

This recognition is in addition to those previously given to professors Joan Pelechano and José Espí, with the aim of having a space in the ETSE-UV dedicated to a professor from each of the departments of the ETSE-UV for their involvement in the creation of the School.
