Visit of the International Accreditation Panels of the ETSE-UV Degrees

The next 4th and 5th of July, the ETSE-UV receives the visit of the committees that have to evaluate the degrees in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Electronic Engineering and Electronics Engineering of Telecommunication to obtain the International Quality Label EUR-ACE® and the degrees in Computer Engineering and Multimedia Engineering for the International Quality Label Euro-Inf.

Each of the External Evaluation Commissions will be made up of 5 members, three academics, one student and one professional expert, proposed by ANECA, Instituto de la Ingeniería de España, Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Ingeniería Técnica en Informática and Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Ingeniería Informática, responsible for the International Quality Label programs.

During the visit, the panels will be interviewed with different groups involved in the titles: students, professors, management teams, self-evaluation committees, graduates and employers. They will also take a tour of the facilities of the ETSE-UV in order to assess the endowment and quality of the spaces dedicated to the education programs.

Both International Quality Labels are certificates granted to a university with respect to a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree assessed according to a set of defined standards, in accordance with the principles of quality, relevance, transparency, recognition and mobility contemplated in the European Higher Education Area. The International Quality Labels are awarded by ANECA as agency authorized by the European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE)  in the case of the EUR-ACE® Label, and by the European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE in the Label Euro-Inf.
