She graduated in German Philology at the University of Barcelona (1994). Since 2000 she has been working at Deutsches Kulturzentrum (Centro Alemán Valencia) as a German teacher.

She is in charge of the official exams of the Goethe Institut and the online courses at the Deutches Kulturzentrum. Official examiner of the Goethe Institut (A1-C1)

Since 2018, associate professor at the UV.

Biography
 

Pau Bertomeu Pi, B.A. in Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation, M.A. in Secondary Education and PhD in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and their Applications (2021) from the University of Valencia. He also holds a M.A. in Translation Studies from the University of Heidelberg (Germany). Since 2021 he has been Lecturer at the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Valencia. He is a member of the research group "Contrastive Linguistics of German and the Ibero-Romance" (CLiGIR). His research fields include contrastive linguistics (German-Spanish/Catalan), translation and German as a foreign language. He is the author of the book "Peticiones en alemán y español. Un estudio contrastivo a partir de Gran Hermano" (2022, Peter Lang) and has published in journals and publishers of excellence in Spain and abroad.

Biography
 

Maricel Esteban-Fonollosa es Doctora en Lenguas, Literaturas, Culturas y sus aplicaciones por la Universidad de Valencia. Licenciada en Filología Alemana por la Universidad de Valencia, en Ciencias de la Información por el C.E.U. San Pablo, centro adscrito a la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, y graduada en el Grado de Estudios Hispánicos de la Universitat de València. Desde 2022 es profesora ayudante doctora en el Departament de Filologia Anglesa i Alemanya de la Universitat de València, desde 2024 está acreditada como profesora Contratada Doctora por la ANECA. Su investigación se centra en el ámbito de la lingüística contrastiva, el análisis del discurso y la lingüística aplicada, especialmente a la enseñanza del alemán como lengua extranjera.

Pertenece al Grupo de Investigación FRASESPAL – Fraseología Español-Alemán (https://frasespal.com/) y trabaja actualmente en el Proyecto del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación PID2019-108783RB-I00 Gramática de Construcciones y Fraseología. Las construcciones fraseológicas del alemán y el español en contraste a través de los corpus (https://constridioms.es/), dirigido por Carmen Mellado Blanco de la Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Además forma parte del equipo de trabajo de la Universitat de València del Lab Diversity and Migration, puesto en marcha en el marco del proyecto de universidad europea FORTHEM (septiembre 2019 - agosto 2022). Actualmente es miembro del Instituto Interuniversitario de Lenguas Modernas Aplicadas de la Comunidad Valenciana (IULMA).

Ha impartido docencia universitaria en el ámbito de la lengua y de la lingüística alemanas (Morfología), además de alemán para fines específicos (Negocios Internacionales, Turismo). Fuera del ámbito universitario experiencia como profesora de alemán por cuenta propia (ALLES Formación) y por cuenta ajena: por una parte, en centros públicos (Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas, Universitat de València, Centro de Lenguas de la UPV, Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia y Torrent e Institutos de Secundaria) y, por la otra, en centros privados (Florida Universitaria, Beta Formación).

Biography
 

María Labarta Postigo is a professor at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia (Spain). She graduated in Hispanic and Germanic Philology at the Free University (FU) Berlin, where she also completed her PhD studies in Linguistics and Computer Science. She has professional experience in graduate and postgraduate courses in Spain, Germany, and Brazil. She has carried out research projects in several universities around the world, including Germany (FU), Norway (UiO), New Zealand (UC Christchurch), Argentina (UBA), Brazil (UERJ, UFI, UFBA, and UFAL), and USA (UC Berkeley and CUNY). Her main research areas are Foreign Language Teaching, Culture and Interculturality, Critical Discourse Analysis and Multilingual Translation.

Biography
 

Belén Lozano Sañudo successfully completed her Degree in Translation and Interpretation in the University of Alicante in June 1999. Between September 2004 and January 2020 she has been working as a lecturer, first in the German area of the Modern Languages Department of the University of Alicante and, subsequently, in the German area of the Translation and Interpretation Department of the same University. In July 2019 she obtained her International PhD Title in Intercultural and Historical Transfers in the Mediterranean Medieval Europe in the University of Alicante. Since February 2021 she is Assistant Professor Doctor in the English and German Philology Department of the University of Valencia. From September 2014 until January 2017, she taught four editions of the subject Übersetzen juristischer Fachtexte Sp-De (Translation of legal texts Spanish-German) in the University of Applied Sciences Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal (Germany).

She is member of the Higher Cooperative Research Institute ISIC-IVITRA of the University of Alicante and of the Institute for Applied Modern Languages (IULMA) of the University of Valencia.

Her lines of research are the translation of children’s and young adult literature from English and German into Spanish and Catalan from the point of view of the Polysytem Theory, translation of legal texts, teaching of translation and machine translation.

Ferran Robles Sabater, B.A. in English Philology (2001) and German Philology (2002) at the Universitat de València, M.A. in Translation at the Universidad de Sevilla (2007) and Ph.D. in Philology at the Universitat de València (2006). He is associate professor of German Linguistics (2017) a the English and German Studies Department of the Universitat de València. He is director of the research group Contrastive Linguistics German-Iberoromance (CLiGIR) and from 2019 he is academic secretary of the Inter-University Institute for Applied Modern Languages (IULMA). His research focuses on discourse analysis, text grammar, contrastive linguistics (German vs. Spanish/Catalan) and didactic lexicography. He is secretary of the international journal MonTI. Monographies on Translation and Interpreting (ISSN 1889-4178, e-ISSN 1989-9335). He has chaired six international conferences on lexicography and contrastive linguistics: Die Wörterbücher des Deutschen (2013), Contrastivica III: Deutsch-iberische Tagung zur kontrastiven Linguistik (2014), ¿Sin orden ni concierto? La estructura informativa en alemán, español y catalán (2017), I Simposio internacional de lingüística contrastiva de la lengua alemana (2019), II Simposio internacional de lingüística contrastiva de la lengua alemana (2020), Nuevas perspectivas de la investigación en lingüística: la traducción del y al alemán (2022).

Biography
 

Raquel Vicente Diaz holds a degree in German Philology from the University of Valencia.

In 2000, she completed the first three years of her teaching degree, specializing in German and Sociology at the Johan Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.

In 2009, she obtained the degree of University Expert in Secondary Education and the CAP from the Catholic University of Valencia.

Since 2010, she has been working as a German teacher and peer tutor at the Deutsches Kulturzentrum (Centro Aleman de Valencia).

Since 2010, she has also been working as a German and Spanish teacher in different language academies and international schools in Valencia. (Caxton College, IES Cervantes, María de Iciar, Campus Lenguajes etc.).

Since 2017, she has been teaching German language as an associate professor in the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Valencia.
 

Since 2020, she has been also tutor for external internships at the University of Valencia.
 

Currently she is also certified as trainer of trainers and as an official examiner of the Goethe Institut (A1-C1).
