Carlos Esplugues Mota, catedràtic de Dret internacional privat de la Universitat de València, és un dels especialistes espanyols més reconeguts en Dret Internacional Privat i Dret del Comerç Internacional, amb una sòlida projecció internacional. Professor de la Facultat de Dret i coordinador del màster en Dret, Empresa i Justícia, combina la seua labor acadèmica amb una intensa trajectòria professional com a àrbitre i mediador internacional, a més de representar a Espanya en el grup de treball d'Arbitratge i Mediació de Nacions Unides i haver participat en diverses comissions legislatives de la Comissió Europea.
