Juan Ferré Manzanero
Professor of Genetics Joan Ferré Manzanero has been elected director of the University Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine (BioTecMed) of the University of Valencia. The institute was created last August, after eight years of functioning as an Interdisciplinary Research Structure (ERI), of which Joan Ferré had acted as coordinator since its creation. Ferré's election as director of the new institute took place on November 26 during the BioTecMed Board meeting.
