The Health and Safety and the Environment Service of the Universitat de València, in collaboration with the Burjassot and Paterna Fire Stations of the Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Valencia (Provincial Consortium of Firefighters of Valencia) have carried out several visits to different buildings of the Burjassot - Paterna Campus, with the aim of knowing the facilities, means of protection, typologies and levels of risk in general, as well as, those specificities of the centres of the university campus.

These technical visits will allow the improvement and establishment of new protocols for action and intervention in different emergency situations that may occur on the Burjassot - Paterna Campus, as well as improving the reception and access to the buildings, zoning the areas of action depending on the type and location of the incident.

This initiative has been thanks to the collaboration and interest of both institutions, as well as the support of the centres that have participated in the visits, which will allow the strengthening, if possible, of the collaboration links between the Universitat de València and the Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Valencia.

The visits took place at the Faculty of Pharmacy on 10-14-17-21 and 23 February, and at Building 4 of the Business Area of the Science Park on 15 February.

In the coming months, more technical visits to the rest of the buildings on the Burjassot - Paterna Campus are planned.
