On May 19, the II VITEM Conference "Digitalization and online collaborative work: strategies to improve well-being and efficiency" were held. These conferences were organized by the VITEM project, made up of colleagues from IDOCAL, the Open University of Catalonia and the University of Seville, as an activity to transfer the results obtained therein. In addition, detailed information on the project, its results, as well as publications and / or conference presentations can also be viewed on the project's specific website: www.proyectovitem.es

We had invited presentations from Victoria Benlloch Ruiz, National Director of the Business Consulting division (ADECCO Group), who exposed the challenges and trends of virtual collaboration; and Dr. José María Peiró, Emeritus Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Valencia, who spoke about digital transformation and skills.

In addition, a panel of experts was held, moderated by Dr. Virginia Orengo, where, among other topics, they delved into the competencies -digital and digitized- that are required in educational organizations; the challenges and difficulties that COVID-19 had implied for this process; and good practices and learnings for an efficient digital transformation.

For this, we have the participation of Joaquim Molina Vallejo (EDUCSI East Zone Coordinator, Jesuits Spain); Alberto Gilsanz Mir (Coordinator of pedagogical innovation); Carmen Vicenta Fuster Mollá (Delegate Councilor of the Educational Policies and Social Welfare Area. Gandía City Council) and José Mª Peiró Silla (Emeritus Professor of Social Psychology. University of Valencia).

All these experiences and ideas will serve as the first input for the new DIGTEACH project, led by the dras. Virginia Orengo and Ana Zornoza, whose team is joined by Drs. Mariam Ramos and Donatella Di Marco (University of Seville)
