Academic, scientific or professional interest:

Social work is a discipline deriving from the corresponding professional activity, which aims to encourage social research, intervention and evaluation by considering social needs, in order to encourage change, the resolution of problems in human relationships and the strengthening and liberation of society to increase wellbeing and cohesion. In order to accomplish this, graduates apply the specific methodology in which case, group and community social work are incorporated.

Worth Noting:

The external internships are carried out in two different stages of the education process, in the second and fourth academic years.

Four optional academic pathways are available, providing the basic training required in order to be aware of the professionally areas of interaction with various sectors of the population. It's mandatory to study the 27 optional credits in the chosen academic pathway.

The academic training pathways are linked to the external internships, and this means that the different areas and practicum centres are linked to the academic pathways that students choose.

It is possible to relate the final project with the themes of the internship that the student has taken.
