Two sisters Sita (Aina Clotet) and Mina (Nandita Das), are separated at birth when their mother dies. Mina becomes a successful actress in Bombay but cannot forget her little sister and decides to go out and search for her. She finds her in Barcelona and with a different name, Paula.
