The speaker for this activity will be Alejo López, who currently works as Senior Consultant at Capgemini, and has a professional career of over 19 years. It is a four-hour workshop divided into two sessions.

The first session, which will be held asynchronously with video materials corresponding to two hours of work, focuses on understanding what continuous integration of software consists of, through the use of automated software testing, and how this process is carried out at Capgemini. The second session will be a two-hour video-conference and will focus on carrying out various practices on the contents presented in the first session.

Among the contents to be covered in the workshop are introduction to testing, review of pot types, approaches, best practices, methodologies and tools and introduction to DevOps through continuous integration.

The CAPGEMINI-UV Chair is aimed at training, cultural, research and university extension activities, such as talks, conferences and grants aimed at knowledge and permanent dissemination of innovation, agility and quality in software development. It also aims to establish a link over time to help train and prepare students to face the world of work.
