Aurora Pedro, director of the Inter-University Chair for New Green Transition at the Universitat de València, started collaboration with Visual Artist Rafa de Corral and Photographer Fernando Ricón. Both are members of Valencia’s Sporting Club Russafa and have wide experience in their respective specialties.

This collaboration falls within the development and preparation of an art creativity contest to be announced soon among university students. The goal of this contest is to use art as an element to raise awareness and reflection about the need of advancing in tourism’s green transition process. Due to its economic importance, the Spanish government supports tourism, an activity that may spread to other economic areas in the future.

This action forms part of activities approved by the Mixed Committee for this year. The definitive rules are hoped to be published shortly.
