The first of the two sessions will take place on Monday 25 September at 12:00 in the Adolfo Miaja de la Muela Room of the UV’s Faculty of Law.
The Jean Monnet Chair (Services of General Economic Interest in the framework of social and territorial cohesion – SIEGE) is organising the international seminar ‘The Reform of Treaties: towards greater democratic legitimacy and greater guarantees in the right of access to economic services of general interest in social Europe.’
The seminar, which will be held in two sessions on 25 September and 2 October at the UV’s Faculty of Law, is free of charge and may be attended in person or online.
Gabriel Moreno González, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Extremadura, will open the first day with a presentation entitled ‘Constitutional Democracy and Economic Integration: Towards a Social European Union.’ The Director of the Chair, Professor María Jesús García García, will also take part in the session with a presentation on access to services of general economic interest as a social right of European citizens.’
