The director of the Chair, Aurora Pedro, gave a conference at this meeting held in Chile from 8 to 10 November.
The 9th Latin American Congress on Tourism Research and 12th Chilean Congress on Tourism Research was held in the city of Valdivia (Chile) with the aim of presenting and analysing tourism experiences that contribute to progress in the construction of a responsible, inclusive tourism on a human scale.
The Tenured University Professor of the Department of Applied Economics at the Universitat de València and director of the Chair for a New Green Transition, presented at this conference the activities that are being carried out by the Chair and explained its short and long term objectives. In addition, she gave a talk on “Tourism Destinations and Climate Change: Proposals for Action for the DMOs” and was invited to participate in the Panel on Governance for Integrated and Human Scale Tourism.
