The Director of the Chair, Constantino J. García, presented three of the awards that were sponsored by the Banco Santander Chair for International Finance.

On the 17th June, the most brilliant students in the area of economics and business at the Universitat de València, in Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in the 20-21 academic year, were gathered in the foyer on the Faculty of Economics to collect the awards. 

The Vice-principal for Economics and Infrastructure, Justo Herrrera, and the Dean, Francisco Muñoz, presided over the prize-giving ceremony. Joining them at the Presidential Table were the Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Research and Innovation, Dolores Montagud; the Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dolores Forés; the Patron of the Graduating class, Juan Antonio Máñez, Full University Professor in the Department of Economic Structure; the Patron of the Master’s graduating class, Eva Mª Caplliure, Director of the Master’s degree in Business Management-MBA, and the Head of Administrative and Financial Services, Catalina Cabrera.

The Director of the Banco Santander Chair for International Finance also took part in the event, where he personally presented the three prizes to the best graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, the Master’s Degree in Corporate finance and the Master’s Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences.

The award-winning were:

• Degree in Business Administration and Management: Fernando Segarra Martínez. Sponsored by the Banco Santander Chair for International Finance, presented by José Miguel Lorente, Director of Territorial Institutions València-Murcia at Banco Santander and Constantino J. García, Director of the Chair.
• Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance: Nuria Chaparro Banegas. Sponsored by the Banco Santander Chair for International Finance, presented by José Miguel Lorente, Director of Territorial Institutions València-Murcia at Banco Santander and Constantino J. García, Director of the Chair.
• Master’s Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences: Carlos Gómez Solaz. Sponsored by the Banco Santander Chair for International Finance, presented by Constantino J. García, Director of the Chair.
