
The University of Valencia has published the resolution of the I edition of the DIVAL-UV Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories Awards, which recognise academic work focused on topics such as improving citizens' quality of life, urban services, and sustainability in municipalities in the province of Valencia.
The purpose of the awards is to promote the study of citizens' quality of life, the efficiency of urban services, the increase in the economic competitiveness of the area, and the guarantee and improvement of sustainability and respect for the environment in said province.
The jury has awarded the prizes to the following works:
- Shared first prize:
- Vicente López Asensio Prize of 375 euros.
- Shared first prize
- David Sánchez Laguna Prize of 375 euros.
- Runner-up:
- Ana Teixidó Masiello Prize of 125 euros.
- Runner-up:
- Óscar Huerta Rubio Prize of 125 euros.
The Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories seeks to promote digital transformation in the rural environment to encourage the development and implementation of technological solutions that help competitiveness and innovation of the corporate fabric of the territory.
