La Càtedra Lluís Amigó de la Universitat de València és una iniciativa alineada amb els objectius de la Fundació Amigó en l'àmbit de la formació de professionals el treball estiga relacionat amb les diferents problemàtiques que afecten a xiquets, xiquetes i joves en situació de risc perquè puguen detectar-les, tractar-les i resoldre-les de la millor manera possible per a evitar possibles conseqüències negatives.
La Càtedra Lluís Amigó té els següents objectius:
- Formar professionals per al treball amb adolescents des de qualsevol disciplina.
- Donar una formació transversal i especialitzada en matèries de complexa actualitat que requereixen un professorat expert i amb dilatada experiència en el sector de la família, la infància i l'adolescència.
- Oferir un marc estructurat d'estudi, anàlisi, reflexió i propostes al voltant de l'adolescència, les formes de comportament, socialització i els seus nexes familiars i relacionals de risc.
- Ampliar coneixements al voltant de les problemàtiques que acompanyen l'avaluació, el diagnòstic i la intervenció amb les adolescències a través de la docència i experiències impartides per professionals experts i acadèmics.
Amb la creació de la Càtedra Lluís Amigó es pretén enfortir la formació de personal educador i professional en l'atenció integral de la infància i joventut, així com intensificar la recerca en el seu àmbit d'actuació des d'una perspectiva multidisciplinar. En l'actualitat, la Càtedra Lluís Amigó i la Universitat de València organitzen cada any el Màster propi en avaluació, prevenció i intervenció d'adolescents amb risc i violència filio-parental (MEPIAR).
The “Luis Amigó” Chair of the Universitat de València is an initiative aligned with the objectives of the Amigó Foundation in the field of training professionals whose work is related to the different problems that affect children and young people at risk so that they can detect, treat and resolve them in the best possible way to avoid possible negative consequences.
The “Luis Amigó” Chair has the following objectives:
- To train professionals to work with adolescents from any discipline.
- To provide cross-disciplinary and specialised training in complex current affairs that require expert teaching staff with extensive experience in the family, childhood and adolescence sector.
- To offer a structured framework of study, analysis, reflection and proposals on adolescence, its forms of behaviour, socialisation and its family and relational links of risk.
- To broaden knowledge about the problems that accompany the assessment, diagnosis and intervention with adolescents through teaching and experiences given by expert professionals and academics.
The creation of the “Luis Amigó” Chair aims to strengthen the training of educators and professionals in the comprehensive care of children and young people, as well as to intensify research in its field of action from a multidisciplinary perspective. Currently, the “Luis Amigó Chair” and the Universitat de València organise every year their own Master's Degree in Evaluation, Prevention and Intervention of Adolescents at Risk and Child-to-Parent Violence (MEPIAR).
