Würth Elektronic eiSos and the Universitat de València are working together to establish an Institutional Chair for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in Smart Grids. The collaboration agreement has been signed by the Professor Dr. Esteban Morcillo Sánchez, Principal of the UV and Oliver Konz and Thomas Schroot, the two Chief Executives of Würth Elektronick eiSos.

The Chair aims to develop basic research in EMC and also its practical application. The research will be developed within the Group of Research for Digital Systems Design and communications (DSDC) attached to the Department of Electronic Engineering of the School of Engineering (ETSE) and Würth Elektronic eiSos will provide material support. The company will also offer opportunities for Doctoral Theses and Master’s Degree final projects.
