-Monographic 8th (December 2022): Musical education and emotions. The relationship between music and emotions in the educational context is bidirectional. On the one hand, music and musical teaching can be a useful tool to improve emotional skills at all ages and in all educational contexts and additionally promote their psychological well-being. On the other hand, favoring the development of emotional skills may be important in order to improve aspects of learning musical skills, for example, to improve expressiveness in the different disciplines and levels of demand. The first aspect has received somewhat more research attention in the last decade, but both remain poorly studied. This monograph would invite authors from different disciplines, educators, musicians, psychologists or any other related area, to submit proposals on the relationship between music and emotions from an educational approach to reveal the implicit benefits that exist in said relationship. Coordinator: Dr. Carolina Bonastre Vallés (Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain). Reception of originals until: September 30, 2022. Only those documents sent through the platform of this journal will be accepted.
