We are pleased to share that Aitor Cubells Gómez, a researcher in the SYM group at the Interuniversity Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development (IDM) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), recently participated in the international conference SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics, held in Prague. This event is one of the most important meetings in the field of optics and optoelectronics worldwide.

Aitor presented his work during his doctoral stay at the Centre for Industrial and Engineering Optics at Technological University of Dublin (TU Dublin), entitled "Advanced Hydrogel-Based Volume Holographic Gratings for Label-Free Biosensing," in an oral presentation session. The presentation generated great interest among attendees, highlighting the innovation and potential of his research in the field of molecular recognition and biosensor development.

Participation in SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics has been a valuable opportunity to share the advances made at the IDM with the international scientific community, as well as to establish new collaborations and explore future lines of research in sensing and molecular recognition technologies.
