Nietas de la Memoria
Presentation of the book "Nietas de la memòria", by the journalist Isabel Donet. One of the authors of the book.
The lives of these women in their day meant nothing officially and meant everything to their families. Silenced and even diminished women, who fought against a thousand difficulties during the Civil War and the immense era that followed. These women who, without bending, stood up a thousand times, who raged and smiled, who buried their own and kept going: Isabel, Juana, Coronada, Juliana, Maria, Angelines, Llum, Lola, Benita, Vicenta, Maria Cristina... The stories of their lives constitute a mosaic that unites experiences from different parts of the land, from different origins, ideologies and social classes.
