The purpose of these grants is to promote the incorporation of Spanish or foreign research personnel with an outstanding track record in Spanish R&D centres, so that they acquire the skills and abilities that will enable them to obtain a stable position in a research organisation of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System.
In the case of candidates for the general access and R&C-INIA-CCAA programmes, the date of obtaining the doctorate degree must be between 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2019. In the case of candidates for the junior programme, the date of obtaining the doctorate degree must be between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2019. In the case of candidates for the disabled category, the date of obtaining the doctorate degree must be between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2018.
The selection is based on a rigorous competitive process based on their curricular merits and their ability to lead a line of research, according to their scientific and professional experience, as well as the independence of their career.
