Documents in the library
You can search books, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, theses, audiovisual materials, etc. in the catalogue of the University of Valencia's libraries, Trobes. You can search by any word in the field, by author, or by subject (always in Valencian). For example:

- Oxford Reference Online: Premium Collection: bilingual dictionaries and collection of multi-thematic encyclopedias, including some on Art, Architecture, History and Performing Arts.
Databases specialised These are the databases that you can access from the library's website, where you will find information on History of Art.
- BHA & RILA, Bibliography of History of Art & Répertoire de la litterature de l'art: you can search both at the same time, they contain material published between 1975 and 2007 on art in Europe and America.
- IBA, International Bibliography of Art for publications after 2007. Complementary to the above.
- Both are hosted in the Getty Research Institute, which contains other full-text information sources: valuable photography collections, digitalised texts on History of Art, selection of critical bibliography, etc.
- Historical Abstracts: bibliographic references and abstracts of articles published in 2000 journals specialised in History, Humanities and Social Sciences. It also includes monograph chapters and theses.
- International Medieval Bibliography: multidisciplinary bibliography of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. (300-1500).
- Textes de la Renaissance: Collections Honoré Champion: Full-text collection of the great texts on Literature, Philosophy, Science and Arts of the European Renaissance. It contains the following collections: Textes de la Renaissance, Études et essais sur la Renaissance, and Dictionnaire de la Langue Française du 16 siècle by Edmond Huguet.
- Fototeca del Instituto de Patrimonio Cultural de España: access to 400,000 photographic documents from the second half of the 19th century to the late 20th century.

- The Labyrinth, Resources for Medieval Studies: The Labyrinth, Resources for Medieval Studies: web of the University of Georgetown that collects a great amount of resources for the study of the Middle Age.

- Artehistoria: web portal for Art and History. It allows users to search by artists, works, styles, etc.
- Recursos en internet de arte y arquitectura de Ramon Soler: collection of resources by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
- Art history resources on the web: selection of resources prepared by Patric Young, from the Department of Art History at the University of Michigan. Classification by periods and artistic movements.
- The Mother of All Art History Link Pages: website created by the University of Michigan. It includes links to image websites.
- Artsource: selection of resources on art and architecture, by Mary Molinaro.
- Art on the Web: collection of art resources on the web, compiled by the Boston College.
- Art resource: collects a high quality collection of painting, sculpture, architecture ... international.
- Google Art Project: project by Google and the most important museums worldwide. It allows users to virtually tour the museums and see the colections. Users can also see a selection of more than 100 high-resolution images in great detail.
- Web gallery of art: virtual collection of European painting and sculpture from the 11th to the 19th century. You can search by artists and take virtual tours.
- Carol Gerten's Fine Art: art database. You can search by authors, and it offers a brief bibliography and images of works.
- MyStudios.com Virtual Gallery: image database including over 5,000 artists and 100,000 works. Search by author or work.
- EIKON: Image database for biblical studies: image database for biblical studies created by the Yale Divinity School. You can search by books of the Bible, geographic location, types of object and subject.
- Getty Research Institute: it contains varied sources of information, some at full text: photo archive, digitalised texts about Art History, selection of critical bibliography, etc.

- Biblioteca Digital d'Història de l'Art Hispànic: initiative by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. It is a web portal that collects digitalised artistic literature documents -books, journals, brochures, etc.- published in the last third of the 19th century and early 20th century.
- Joconde: resources on documentation, computerization and digitization of museum collections in France.
- Artcyclopedia: online art encyclopedia. It allows users to search by the name of the artist, the name of the work, artistic movements, museums, etc.
- Museums around the world: online museums directory, sorted by country and continent.
- Directory of museums: national, in the world and subject access (prepared by Ministerio de Cultura).
- Artquizz: website created by the Liberty Art Gallery that has quizzes about painters, art history and art theory, sorted by countries and periods. It is also available in Spanish.
- SINC: Servicio de Información y noticias científicas: science news web portal, organised into 7 areas: Natural Science, Technology, Biomedicine and Health, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Humanities and Art, Social and Legal Sciences and Science Policy. Within Humanities and Arts there is a subsection for Arts and Humanities Science.
