Library documents
You can search books, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, theses, audiovisual materials, etc. in the catalogue of the University of Valencia's libraries, Trobes. You can search by any word in the field, by author, or by subject (always in Valencian). For example:

- Temaria: digital journals on Library and Documentation Science. Web portal that includes over 2,800 articles published in the following journals: Anales de documentación, BiD, Cuadernos de documentación audiovisual, Cuadernos de documentación multimedia, Cuadernos EUBD Complutense, Documentación de las ciencias de la información, Hipertext.net, Item, Revista general de información y documentación.

Encyclopedias and dictionaries
- Codicologia: collection of French terms related to manuscripts, with their English, Italian and Spanish equivalents.
- ODLIS Online Dictionary for Library and Information Science: English dictionary created by Joan M. Reitz, librarian and teacher at Western Connecticut State University, specializing in librarianship and information science, editing, printing, bookbinding, book history, telecommunication and information technology. Includes more than 4000 terms, definitions and cross references.
Databases specialised These are the Library Science and Documentation databases that you can find in the library's electronic resources.
- LISA: Library and Information Science Abstracts: it contains bibliographic references and abstracts of papers on library science, information sciences and related disciplines published in 440 journals in 68 countries.
- LISTA: Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts: bibliographic references to over 600 periodicals, books, research reports and conference proceedings. It includes topics such as bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management, etc.
- E-lis: E-prints in Library and Information Science: open access archive for technical and scientific documents, published or unpublished, on library science, documentation and technology and related areas.
- Recbib: guide with information about work, public examinations, courses, articles and news in the field of Library and Documentation Science. [Not updating from April 2017]
- Internet Public Library: web portal created by American librarians that collects online academic resources, classified by subject. It contains a section about libraries.
- SINC: news portal
- El libro de los libros: 1160 professional books free downloading for librarians compiled by Julio Alonso Arévalo (Librarian of the School of Translation at the University of Salamanca).
- Current Cites: international web of monthly bibliography of articles, monographs and electronic documents. Since 1990.
- Open access books
- IFLA: The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions: global organisation to provide librarians around the world with a forum for exchanging ideas, promoting international cooperation, research and development in all fields related to library activities.
- ANABAD: Federación Española de Asociaciones de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios, Arqueólogos, Museólogos y Documentalistas: nonprofit entity, intended to bring together professionals in the field of archives, libraries, museums, documentation and information centres, archaeological parks and interpretation centres.
- SEDIC: Asociación Española de Documentación e Información: it is dedicated to the promotion and exchange of experiences and the training of librarians and other information professionals.
- REBIUN: Red de bibliotecas universitarias: organisation representing all Spanish university libraries.
- FESABID: Federación Española de Sociedades Archivísticas, Biblioteconomía, Documentación y Museística: it is a meeting place for Spanish professionals represented by their respective associations, to exchange knowledge and work together on projects of common interest.
- AAB: Asociación Andaluza de Bibliotecarios: independent professional association, whose fundamental objective is to represent and defend the interests of librarians in Andalusia.

- ICA: International Council on Archives: professional organisation on archives, dedicated to promoting the preservation, development and use of the world's archival heritage, with over 1400 partners in more than 190 countries and territories.
- PARES: Portal de Archivos Españoles: Web portal by the Ministry for Culture for the dissemination of Spanish documentary heritage through their public or private archival projects.
