Documents in the library
You should search for the books, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, theses, audiovisual materials, etc. in the libraries catalogue of the University of Valencia Trobes. You can search by any word in the registry, by author, or by subject (always in Valencian language). For example:

Journals published by the University of Valencia:
- Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy: online encyclopedia that contains over 2,000 articles. It is constantly reviewed and updated.
- The Ism Book, a field guide to philosophy: More than a traditional dictionary, it is more of a "field guide" that exposes the essence of key concepts in the history of ideas. Maintained with continuity since 1996.
- Diccionario filosófico: digital version of the Diccionario filosófico prepared by Pelayo García Sierra.
- Diccionario soviético de filosofía: digital edition of one of the most widespread philosophical dictionaries in the 20th century.
- Diccionario filosófico de Voltaire: this digital editions mirrors faithfully the Valencian edition from 1901, by Sempere.
- Diccionario de filosofía: by José Ferrater Mora. This edition allows to compare some entries contained in the six editions of the dictionary, which were produced between 1941 and 1979.
- Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy: created by the Stanford University Center for the Study of Language and Information. It offers extensive definitions of terms.
- Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy: great resource, with contributions from specialists in the field.
- Marxists Internet Archive: database configured as a digital library of Marxist themes, and managed directly by the direct participants of the initiative (volunteers).
Specialises databases These are the databases accessible from the website of the library where you can find information on Philosophy:
- Philosopher’s Index: indexing and abstracts from books and journals of philosophy and related fields since 1940. It contains the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy, epistemology and metaphysical logic and material on philosophy of law, religion, science, history, education and language.
- Philpapers: international bibliographic database with articles from main journals and books. It's fulltexted and updated by philosphers from several universities.
- PhilSci-Archive: preprint collection covering the philosophy of science.
- In Principio: Incipit Index of Latin Texts: it contains 1 million of incipits that cover Latin literature in all genres, since the pre-classical period until the Renaissance.

- Filosofia.net: el portal de la filosofía en internet: it gives access to other web portals, search engines, dictionaries, journals, institutional websites, etc. about philosophy.
- La caverna de Platón: website aimed at secondary and higher education students and teachers. It has contents about the history of philosophy, art and philosophy, articles, book reviews, etc.
- Filópolis: interesting website on ethics and philosophy for beginners. It contains information about philosophy, history of philosophy, ethics, interdisciplinary activities, etc.
- Philosophy around the Web: large selection of resources compiled by Peter J. King.
- 1000-word philosophy: collection in constant growth of original essays on relevant philosophical subjects. These essays are more introductory and informative than argumentative articles.
- Cogprints: electronic file for articles from all areas of psychology, neuroscience and linguistics and related aspects and related fields such as computing, philosophy, biology, medicine, anthropology, etc.
