The libraries of the University of Valencia offer extraordinary hours for the December holidays and the month of January, coinciding with the study period for the first semester exams.
Joan Reglà Humanities Library which is open every Saturday and Sunday of the academic year, will open on the long weekend of December, from 5 to 11. All other libraries will be closed on 6, 8 and 9 December, except the Science and Social Science Libraries (only Floor -1), which will be open on 9 December.
Area libraries, Humanities Library included, will open on weekends in December. Sciences and Social Sciences Libraries (Floor -1) will open 3 & 4; 9,10 & 11 and 17 & 18 december. Education and Health Sciences libraries will open on the weekends 3 & 4 and 17 & 18 december.
During the Christmas period, the Humanities and Sciences Library will open 24 hours a day. The two libraries will open from December 27 to January 27. On these dates the Social Sciences Library (Floor -1) and the Education Library will open until 2 in the morning.
Campus d’Ontinyent Library Study Room will open from December 27 to January 27 from 8:00 am to 9:45 pm weekdays and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On December 24, 25, 26 and January 1,2 and 6, all libraries and archives will be closed. On December 31 and January 5, the open libraries will close at 2:30 p.m
Health Sciences Library will open on the weekends of January 7 & 8, 14 & 15, and 21 & 22 de enero from 9 am to 9 pm.

During exams period, the university card will be required to enter the libraries of the Universitat de València. If verification is required, ID cards may also be requested.
