Libraries opening hours

In the current context of expansion of COVID-19 to the CV, to respond to exceptional situations of students, and meeting the demand of student organizations, the University of Valencia will open a classroom on each campus this Christmas holidays to complete the UV library schedule.

You already have available on the website the opening hours of the libraries of the University of Valencia during the Christmas holidays. The area libraries will open on December 28, 29 and 30 and on January 4 and 5 at 8:30 a.m. at 2:30 pm .. The rest of the libraries and archives will open on December 28, 29 and 30 with the same hours.

Unfortunately, the libraries of the University of Valencia will not offer this year extraordinary hours due to the emergency of COVID-19. However, exceptionally, a study room will remain open on each campus of the Universitat de València.

The hours and conditions of access to the Classrooms will be the following:

Campus Blasco Ibáñez: Classroom I
Burjassot-Paterna Campus: Interfacultative Classroom
Naranjos Campus: West Classroom

Days and hours of exceptional opening, which complement the hours of UV libraries on Christmas holidays:

December 28, 29 and 30, from 3 to 8:30 p.m.
December 31: from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
January 4 and 5: from 3 to 8:30 p.m.
January 7 and 9: from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Conditions of access to classrooms and security
The Universitat de València, following the indications of the health authorities, recommends, especially during vacation periods, to maintain security measures, stay at home and reduce travel.

It also advises to make use of these spaces enabled as study room in an exceptional way.

To access these classrooms during the special opening hours, you will have to accredit yourself as a student of the University of Valencia with your identification card.

The access control and security services of the University will identify all the people who access these facilities, which will have reinforced cleaning measures and limited capacity of up to 200 places per classroom.

In addition, the students will have hand and surface cleaning liquid in case they want to carry out a specific cleaning of the space they occupy, in addition to that carried out by the University.
