Delivery of the iPad

Tuesday, June 11, the rector of the Universitat de València, Mavi Mestre Escrivá, gave the student Cristina Elena Sierra (Double Degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration) the Ipad 9.7 " she had won by responding the satisfaction survey of the Library and Documentation Service.

At the delivery, which took place in the La Nau building, also attended Antonio Ariño Villaroya, vice-chancellor of Culture and Sport; Victoria García Esteve, director of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació; and SBD Self-evaluation Committee staff.

Since the 2012/2013 academic year, the Library and Documentation Service has collected the opinion of the university community about its management through satisfaction surveys.

This year the participation was of 4,749 students, 873 professors and 127 of the SBD staff.

On a scale of 1 to 5, students have rated the libraries of the Universitat de València with a 4.11, the PDI with a 4.29 and the Servei staff with a 4.02.

Every year, the SBD self-assessment committee analyzes and studies the results of the surveys and proposes specific improvements for libraries.
