The new edition of the JCR, corresponding to 2019, was launched on June 29. The Clarivate Analytics tool offers a classification of scientific journals based on the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) and the citations received by the publications. This new edition incorporates a total of 12,171 journals (351 of new inclusion), with their content indexed in Web of Science.
The new edition incorporates as a novelty the classification of the cited articles according to their method of access, distinguishing between articles from «Gold» magazines, «hybrid» and subscription magazines.
A total of 125 Spanish magazines have been indexed to the JCR 2019, and a total of 33 have been left out of the new edition due to unjustified accumulation of citations.
