For another year, the Humanities and Education Libraries have revalidated the AENOR certification in universal accessibility. This certification is a sample of the commitment of the Universitat de València with the creation of accessible spaces; for this reason, as always, we has had the invaluable collaboration of both the Prevention and Environment Service as of UVDiscapacitat and of the Technical and Maintenance Service.
Due to the State of Alarm, the audit was divided into two parts. A first one, documentary, that was made online, on May 7th, and a second one, extraordinary and face-to-face, complementary to the previous one, which was held on June 10th, to verify the accessible environments of both libraries.
The result was satisfactory and this indicates that we are doing a good job and that we must continue in that direction.
