XatUV

The XXV edition of the University-Society Awards, promoted and organised by the Social Council of the University of Valencia in collaboration with its University-Business Foundation (ADEIT), has awarded the XatUV project in the Digital Humanism category, created with the aim of rewarding the relevant, innovative and original use of digital technologies by the university community.

The XatUV is a new channel of attention to users of the University of Valencia, promoted by the Communication area of the University of Valencia, which was created with the aim of offering synchronous attention to students, graduates and future students in a context marked by the pandemic. The hybrid nature of this service is one of its most important characteristics, because it combines an initial attention through a Bot and a personalised and multilingual attention through a network of specialised online agents.

The Libraries and Documentation Service has been involved in the XatUV project since the beginning, and has dealt with almost 3,000 queries from users in 2021.
