    49 PhD programs have been presented to monitoring

    The University of Valencia has submitted 49 titles to the first call for the monitoring of the implementation of the official university Doctoral Studies. These 49 programs are added to those previously evaluated in 2017.

  • Teaching assessment surveys


    Teaching staff assessment surveys are already available

    Until May 20, undergraduate and Master's degrees students can answer questionnaires to assess those teachers who have taught at least 15 hours in annual subjects or subjects of the second semester. The surveys are available at Secretaria Virtual.

    The results of the satisfaction surveys of students with doctoral programmes are available

    The reports have been posted on the card of each doctoral programme (section “Quality”, subsection “Satisfaction survey results”).

    The Quality Unit publishes a brief report of their activity during 2017

    The document, prepared on the occasion of the preparation of the University Management Report, shows the most significant actions corresponding to this unit during 2017.

    Submitted the departmental reports about the teachig assessment

    The Unitat de Qualitat (Quality Unit) has sent to the different departments the reports corresponding to the teaching evaluated in the 16-17 academic year, in order that the data be analyzed in depth and possible areas for improvement be identified.

  • Visit of the External Assessment Committee


    Visit of the External Assessment Committee

    Tomorrow the Universitat de València will receive the visit of the Committee, which will assess the masters in Advanced English Studies (Estudios Ingleses Avanzados) and in History of Science and Scientific Communication (Historia de la Ciencia y la Comunicación Científica) in the framework of the renovation programme of university degrees’ accreditation.

    Reports of satisfaction with sports activities has been sent

    The Unitat de Qualitat (Quality Unit) has developed and sumitted to the heads of the Servei d'Educació Física i Esports (Physical Education and Sports Service) the reports with the opinions of the participants in sports activities during the first four months of the 2017/2018 academic year.

  • Satisfaction surveys of master's degrees and doctoral studies


    Activated the satisfaction surveys with the master's degrees and with the doctoral studies

    The students of the master's degrees who finish their teaching at the beginning of the year and the students of the doctoral programmes have available online questionnaires to give their opinion on these degrees. Surveys are a key element in the respective Internal Quality Assurance Systems (SGIC). The surveys will remain open until March 4 in the case of the master's degrees and until the 11th for the doctoral studies.

  • Doctoral programmes


    Received the first two monitoring reports of doctoral programmes

    AVAP delivered to the Universitat de València the definitive monitoring reports of the doctoral programmes that have participated in the pilot experience (Doctoral Programme in Physiology and Doctoral Programme in Accounting and Corporate Finance). Both have been favorable.

  • DOCENTIA dimensions


    Fiinal resolutions of the first pilot experience of the new teacher evaluation model have been sent

    Professors who voluntarily participated in the experimental implementation stage of the Teaching Activities Evaluation Manual have been sent the final resolutions of the experimental evaluation model. Shortly, a second phase of experimental evaluations will take place.
