The Plan de Investigación, Internacionalización y Docencia en Inglés (PRIDA, Spanish for Plan for Research, Internationalisation and Teaching in English) is part of the internationalisation strategy of the Universitat de València (UV).
The main objective of this Plan is to train and improve the communicative and methodological skills of UV teaching staff and its activities are promoted and driven jointly by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Internationalisation and Cooperation, the Office of the Vice-Principal for Studies and Language Policies and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Programmes.
The Lifelong Learning and Educational Innovation Service has organised an intensive course (30 hours) entitled “ENGLISH AS A MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION (EMI): ACTIVE METHODOLOGIES APPLIED TO UNIVERSITY TEACHING IN ENGLISH”, which will be held on July the 1st, the 2nd, the 7th, the 8th and the 9th 2021, from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the 1.1. and 2.1. classrooms of the Manuel Sanchis Guarner Centre for Education and Quality (Tarongers Campus).
This course is aimed at both teaching staff who have taught English for at least 5 years at Degree or Master’s Degree level (mentor role) and teaching staff who are interested in and/or have the chance of teaching in English (novice role).
Enrolment will be open from June the 1st at 9.00 a.m. until the 8th at 2.00 p.m.
