Under the title "Actuarial studies in Spain: its origin and development to the present day", the retired full university professor of the Universitat de València will give a talk in the Aula 508 of the Aulario Sur of the Tarongers Campus.
On Tuesday, May 17, at 7:45 pm, Roberto Escuder Vallés will address the origin and development of actuarial studies in Spain. The conference has been organized by the Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences of the Universitat de València.
Roberto Escuder Vallés is a FUll University Professor of Economic and Business Statistics. Until his retirement, he taught and researched in the Department of Applied Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Universitat de València.
He has published several books on Statistics, as well as specialized articles on applications of Statistics to Auditing, decision processes and design of experiments in different scientific journals. He has participated in different congresses and forums, presenting papers and communications, mainly on Statistics applied to Auditing.
He has supervised doctoral theses, dissertations and doctorate research works, participated in different research agreements, as well as delivered several lectures and courses, seminars and masters on topics of application of Statistics to the economic field, mainly to the audit of financial statements, internal audit, quality control and management, design of experiments and applied informatics in different Spanish universities, professional associations and public and private institutions.
