Last 30th December, the Government of the Valencian Community made public in the Official Journal of the Valencian Country the benefitted entities of the economic grants aimed at audiovisual production, distributed along the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 and that will help to “regenerate the valencian audiovisual imaginary”.

Hence, among the developments of this year, there is the evaluation of new merits like the projects based on adaptations of valencian writers’ books or the cast of valencian actors and actresses. Moreover, the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC) bet on the promotion of gender equality rating the women’s presence in the projects.

The grants for the valencian audiovisual production have been distributed among three audiovisual genres such as: animation, fiction and documentary. Of five millions, the IVC will allocate 1,100,000 euros to audiovisual production of animation, 900,000 euros to the valencian documentary production and 3,000,000 euros to the valencian fiction productions.

This is how the grants have been distributed according to the different genres:

Fiction feature

• RAW PICTURES, SL LUCAS has received grants for a value of 210,000 euros
• ANLO PRODUCCIONS, SL  LA GENT for its part has received 209,979 euros
• JUAN JOSÉ MOSCARDÓ RIUS  AMOR EN CLAU  will receive 299.128.60 euros
• NEMESIS MEDIA, SLDUSK will receive 300,000 euros
• FRANCISCO MORAL REMÓN EL SOMNI S’HA ACABAT will also receive 300,000
• SUNRISE PICTURES, SL FORMENTERA LADY is one of the beneficiaries with an amount of 300,000 euros
• VIVA LA VIDA PRODUCCIONES, AIE VISCA LA VIDA will receive 350,000 euros
• FISHBONE MOVIE, AIE FISHBONE will also receive an amount for a value of 350,000 euros
• MISENT PRODUCCIONES, SLVOLVER A CASA will receive a grant of 350,000 euros

Documentary features

• CALIBRANDO PRODUCCIONES, SL. EN BUSCA DEL OSCAR will receive 90,000 euros
• SUICA PRODUCTIONS, SL.EXPERIMENTO STUKA will receive an amount for a value of 90,000 euros
• ESTRELA AUDIOVISUAL, SLU SEGRELLES. IL·LUSTRADOR UNIVERSAL will also be a beneficiary with an amount of 90,000 euros
• ANLO PRODUCCIONS, SL. BASTARD will receive 64,976 euros
• DACSA PRODUCCIONS, SL. L’ÚLTIM AVIADOR will receive 90,000 euros from the Valencian Institute of Culture
• AMUNTESPORT, SL SALIUNDE will receive 70,000 euros
• THE FLY HUNTER, SL LA VIDA SALVATGE will receive 90,000 euros from the grants of the Valencian Institute of Culture
• DACSA PRODUCCIONS, SL CABANYAL, ANY ZERO will receive on its part 90,000 euros
• ENDORA PRODUCCIONES, SL JOSEP RENAU. L’ART EN PERILL will also receive 90,000 euros
• GAIA AUDIOVISUALS, SL ELS SUBVERSIUS will receive an amount of 32,542.4 euros

Animation

• PASOZEBRA PRODUCCIONES, SL EL NÁUFRAGO (SHORT FILM) will receive 40,000 euros
• ROSA GERTRUDIS PERIS MEDINA TUTUTÚ (SHORT FILM) will receive 40,000 euros
• EMILIOII MARTÍ LÓPEZ MAKUN (NO LLORES) (SHORT FILM) will receive 40,000 euros
• ENRIQUE MILLÁN ALMENAR IMPROMPTU (SHORT FILM)  will receive 8,702 euros
• BLUE DREAM STUDIOS SPAIN HERO DAD (PILOTO SERIE) will receive 35,000 euros
• PRODUCCIONES DE ANIMACIÓN LLUNA FILMS, SL INDIFERENCIA (SHORT FILM) will receive 33,000 euros
• TERRA A LA VISTA, SLU GENERACIÓ VERDA  (PILOTO SERIE) will receive 23,234 euros
• SOMNIS ANIMACIÓ, SL”POP UP” (PILOTO SERIE) will receive 40,000 euros

• TV ON, SL EL DIARI DE BITA I CORA (SERIE) will receive  400,000 euros

• BUENPASO FILMS, SL COLPS DE PUNY  (SHORT FILM) will receive 40,000 euros
• CONTES PER AL NOU MIL·LENI, SL EL SABATER I LES ÀNIMES (SHORT FILM) will receive 780 euros

Promotion of the valencian audiovisual

The bet on the valencian audiovisual sector has led Culturarts to continue promoting the short films and other audiovisual projects already finished in national and international festivals, like Ladrón de caras (2013) of Jaime Maestro, which you can see hereunder.
