On 24 October, forth year students of the degrees in Telematic Engenieering, Electronic Engineering for Telecommunications and Industrial Electronic Engineering and the master’s degree in Electronic Engineering for Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering, visited the facilities of the company MaxLinear during its open day.

MaxLinear is an American hardware company. Founded in 2003, it gives solutions of semiconductors of highly integrated mixed and analogue radio signals for broadband communication applications. The company is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Students had the opportunity to get to know its products, job and partnership opportunities offered, and how the Silicon Valley company works in Valencia.

They were accompanied by the professors José Torres (ETSE-UV deputy director), Jesús Soret, Raimundo García and the professor Paula Marzal (ETSE-UV director).

The Universitat de València and MaxLinear Hispania S.L.U. have a framework agreement for collaboration to boost all the new activities that contribute to develop, disseminate, and apply the semiconductors, microprocessors and digital signal processing technologies.
