General and specific competencies:

  1. They will have shown a systematic understanding of the methodology used in Theoretical Chemistry and the mastering of the skills and research methods related to simulation in Chemistry.
  2. To conceive, design or create, implement and adapt a substantial process of research or creation with academic seriousness.
  3. To contribute through an original research which will extend the frontiers of knowledge of Quantitative Finance and Economy, developing a substantial body which deserves the referenced publication at national or international level.
  4. Ability to carry out a critical and assessment analysis and synthesis of new and complex ideas.
  5. To communicate with their peers, with the academic community in general and to society about the issues analysed in the field of social and labour sciences.
  6. To promote, in academic and professional contexts, the technological, social and culture advances within a knowledge-based society and on the respect for: a) fundamental rights, and gender equality rights, b) equality of opportunities and universal accessibility principles of people with disabilities and c) the specific values of a culture of peace and of democratic values.
  7. Designing, preparing and using methods for chemical analysis and compound characterization in order to control quality and security of the products coming from the chemical industry as well as other scopes such as environmental, agro alimentary and health studies.
  8. Designing, carrying out and directing R&B&I projects or developing patents, based on experimental techniques of employment, in public organisms or private companies.
  9. Designing, carrying out research works, counsel, resource management, validation and certification, in private companies or public organisms.
  10. Properly expressing the conclusions of a research or study done by the development of a report, certificate or chemical judgements as well as publicly presenting and defend them.
