This conference that will begin at 4:00 p.m. on April 7 in the OB7 classroom of the West Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences addresses the impact on companies of Royal Decree 902/2020, of October 13, on equal pay between women and men, particularly about the obligation to carry out a salary audit as an integral part of the Equality Plan. This is one of the most sensitive and controversial aspects of the practical negotiation of equality plans.

The day's main objective is to provide students with both theoretical knowledge about equal pay between women and men and the regulatory framework for salary audits, as well as practical knowledge to deal with its preparation.

The person who will give the seminar is Patricia Madrona, Lawyer, and Labor Law Equality Agent.

Patricia Madrona is a lawyer specialized in labor law and an Equal Opportunity Agent. As an equality agent, she has participated in the design and negotiation of more than 50 equality and diversity plans in companies, participates in investigations of harassment as an instructor, and prepares reports on situations of discrimination or workplace, sexual or gender-based harassment.

She also has extensive experience in matters related to the disciplinary regime, business successions -mainly those derived from mergers and acquisitions-, productive decentralization processes and transfers, union negotiations -company agreements and extra-statutory agreements-, and collective dismissal strategies and suspension of contracts, implementation of productivity systems, shifts and schedules with collective affectation.

She advises public sector clients on matters related to his specialty, including processes for reversal of contracts with the Administration. Patricia Madrona has solid experience as a lawyer in court in all kinds of processes of the social order, with special impact in advising on procedures for the violation of fundamental rights, as well as work accidents (surcharge on benefits), in the administrative and social phase. She has developed her professional career working as a lawyer in highly relevant law firms (Cuatrecasas, Broseta Abogados and Ernst&Young).
