
Universitat de València's Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety has presented a First Ad Workshop aiming to provide practical and theoretical foundations for the attendants to know how to act efficiently on emergencies.
The workshop welcomed students and university members interested in risk prevention. The acivity took place in the Universitat de València’s facilities in collaboration with emergency and first aid experts.
During the conference, attendants learned to identify critical situations and perform cardiovascular reanimation (CPR) and use automatic defibrillators as well as managing common injuries such as bone fractures, bleeding and burns. The workshop included practical exercises to allow attendants to use their recent learning under qualified supervision.
The First Aid workshop is one of the Universitat de València’s Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety’s many activities promoting prevention and healthcare in workplace, reinforcing their commitment with the education of highly qualified professionals.
