INVITATION TO THE OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF THE CHILDHOOD TOUR 2017

Madrid, 10 May 2017

To adults:        

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrea, I am 16 years old and I do not have as much experience and wisdom as you. Some people could believe I am still a child ─ I do not work nor pay the food I eat every day; and there are people not taking me into account when it comes to many decisions or do not ask for my opinion, not until some years. But I do have a voice. I have things to tell. I have ideas. I want people to pay attention to what I have to say. I love seeing adults like you in television, standing in front of a crowd while exposing their points of view or impressions about any topic; sometimes in a fluent way, sometimes not. But always having something to say and someone listening. On this occasion I address you, our respectable authorities, to invite you to a very special act ─ a conference by us, young adults; to you, adults. For the first time, we want to prove you that we do have attitude and initiative to stand in front of a large group of people and yell that we have something to say. It would be an honour if you could accompany us on this little adventure on 22 May with your best clothes and some hope.
