Born in Barcelona but living in Rafelbunyol from 5 years old, Eckhard is graduate in Sport Sciences, and currently he is student of the Master’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport management, combining his post-graduate studies with top-level sport.

In 2015 he finished in the second place in the road test of the World Championship in Switzerland. And in a national level he was doubly champion , both in route and in time-trial.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t repeat the bronze he got in Paralympic Games of London 2012. This time, only 5 seconds kept him away from the podium, but this doesn’t discredit his great performance in Rio.
