The Surface Temperature Team of the Earth Observation Sciences (EOS) group at the University of Leicester are seeking to appoint a Research Associate based in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Space Park Leicester (SPL).

The EOS group has a strong foundation in leading space research and specializes in the identification, research and development of new/advanced parameters for space measurements. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Darren Ghent at the National Center for Earth Observation (NCEO) and will contribute fully to the extensive portfolio of research conducted by the team. In this role, the successful candidate will work on land surface temperature projects that can range from understanding satellite sensor radiometry.
