What’s the Master’s Degree Final Project? (TFM)
The TFM is an individual monographic work, through which students have to prove their ability to skilfully address the following aspects:
- Present an evidence-based issue or innovation and/or research project on teaching-learning or the educational context of the master’s specialisation of choice.
- Develop the above-mentioned issue or project by presenting relevant work hypotheses, so as to be able to draw empirically or theoretically-relevant conclusions.
- Apply the baggage of knowledge and skill acquired throughout the master’s other modules.
- Summarise and present the carried-out work in a TFM memory.
Since the TFM is highly comprehensive of the knowledge and skill acquired in the master’s, its defence is to be done at the end of the master’s study period. As specified in the Curriculum, students attending the master’s in a part-time capacity will have to enrol for the TFM in the second year.
