Academic, scientific or professional interest: The general objective of the programme is to train professionals, researchers and professors of high academic level who are able to produce, pass along, teach and apply new mathematical knowledge in the basic sciences and in engineering. Therefore it expects to provide students with a specialised and advanced training in mathematics, as well as to prepare those that want to continue with their research training facing towards the writing of a doctoral thesis. To this end, It has been made sure that the modules offered serve to get in touch students with the more related problems and techniques with the research lines that develop the different researchers of the departments that participate in the programme.
