Jon (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) tends to dehumanize everything that happens in his life: his apartment, his car, his family, his parish, and, of course, his women. His friends call him Don Jon because of his ability to get a different woman every weekend. However, there is nothing that could be compared with the happines Jon gets looking at pornography on the computer. Unsatisfied, he will embark on an adventure in search of a more rewarding sex life and he will end up learning the great lessons of life and love through his relationship with two very different women: Barbara (Scarlett Johansson) and Esther (Julianne Moore).
