Ernesto Garzón Valdés has developed his career in numerous European and American universities, in which he became an undeniable intellectual reference in the field of analytical philosophy for the young professors of Legal Philosophy. His expulsion of the diplomatic service and his exile in 1973 were a wake-up call in the Argentinian society and they provoked the protest of a high amount of intellectuals. After the democracy's restoration in Argentina he was one of the few intellectuals that opposed the Full Stop laws. His last works are about the legitimacy of the State and look for acceptable solutions to problems of the political philosophy in its link with ethics.
