Heliodoro Carpintero Capell was born in 1939 in Barcelona. Phd. in Philosophy.
He obtained the Extraordinary Prize of Degree in Philosophy and Letters in 1961 and Extraordinary Prize of Doctorate in Philosophy and Letters in 1969.
Professor of Basic Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Valencia and Complutense University of Madrid and Professor Vice-Rector at the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA).
He was a founding member and first president of the Spanish Society of History of Psychology and president of the Spanish Federation of Associations of Psychology.
